James leads the BBC’s Responsible AI team, helping make sure that use of AI by and for the BBC aligns with the BBC’s values, priorities and legal and regulatory obligations. The team co-ordinate the BBC’s overall RAI governance and risk management approach to ensure responsible internal development, procurement and use of AI, provide tools and support to turn principles into practice, and work to build a culture across the whole BBC of using AI responsibly.
